Captain Cook is one of the oldest existing coffee companies in Hawaii. Since the 1880’s, Captain Cook has been growing and processing raw green Kona coffee. Today, Captain Cook purchases coffee cherry from over 450 private estate farmers. Captain Cook also has its own estate farm located on Napoopoo Road, South Kona District, wet mill facility and farm in Honaunau, and dry mill facility and farm in Kainaliu.
Due to its rich aroma and full bodied flavor, Kona coffee is considered to be one of the best coffees in the world. Captain Cook Coffee Company only sells 100% pure Kona coffee that has been certified by the State of Hawaii Department of Agriculture.
The McLaughlin family, with over 40 years of experience in the coffee industry, owns Captain Cook Coffee Company.
The corporate headquarters are located in Burlingame, California. |
