When an elderly man was explaining, to a reporter, his involvement in the killings of Jewish children, during the years of fascism, he admitted that those children were not evil; however, would pose a real threat, if were given a chance to come of age.
And when asked, by a cynical reporter, if he truly believed this, he replied, “If I didn’t, I couldn’t live with myself!” [Killing so many children]
Neither, could so many today. When given a chance to live with a lie or to be destroyed by the Truth, a choice is quite obvious for most of us - hide.
