'Conscious America’ is a site designed, in hope, to show that we can control many critical aspects of our lives, if we choose to accept responsibility for the choices that we make.

Decency - the ‘cancer’ of our time.Date Released: 06/10/2006
Throughout times, Decency had no real place in formation blocks of our social structure, even though, the need to form our opinions from the position of Right and Wrong is undeniable and is part of our essence. For that reason, people have made incredible strives in building a Wall of Ignorance – a refuge – to help them stay the incessant voice of consciousness.

We have spent millenniums devising ideologies, social and legal systems allowing us the means of evading the austerity of virtues. “It is against the law to protect the runaway slaves – therefore, I cannot break the law!” “Yes, the killings of women and children were wrong in Rwanda, but the International Law doesn’t allow us to interfere in the internal affairs of another country.” “Yes, killing someone is wrong, but “these” people are not like us, they don’t share our values”, and, “I was only following my orders”.

We use the law and ideology as a shield to defend ourselves against the Decency, knowing only too clear that such Virtue has no place in this world. Decency is like a hot burning sun causing us tremendous pain and anguish every time its Radiance explores the dark corners of our souls.
But have no fear! This ‘attack’ is not long lasting and with a proper use of law and ideology, as an antidote, will only leave a subtle trace of discomfort.

If you happened to be afflicted with the ability to see the Right from Wrong – you are of a rare breed. If you happened to be cursed by the Decency, with the conviction to stand and possibly die in the path of evil, then the chances of you being in the same place with another Human Being are incredibly remote. So stop looking around - and look within!

If you want to know what to do in time of decision, then do what’s Right. Not what is right for you or your family or your country, but what is Right and Decent. And if it is too hard, you can always take the antibiotic.
